IEEE CCECE 2023 Conference

We are pleased to announce that the 2023 Canadian Conference On Electrical and Computer Engineering will be held in Regina, Saskatchewan September 24 – 27, 2023 at the Delta Hotel. It is being hosted by IEEE South Saskatchewan Section and IEEE North Saskatchewan Section. The CCECE is IEEE Canada’s flagship conference and always welcomes a high caliber audience. We will showcase paper presentations, Special Sessions, panels, tutorials, and exhibitors. We sincerely hope you enjoy this conference.

Meet our Keynote Speakers

Dr. Elizabeth Cannon

President Emerita and Professor, Geomatics Engineering, University of Calgary

Dr. Cannon is a geomatics engineering expert who has made significant contributions to GPS technology and has held numerous leadership positions. She has also championed women in STEM and received many awards and honorary degrees.

Kirsten Marcia

President and Chief Executive Officer, DEEP Earth Energy

Kirsten Marcia, Professional Geoscientist, is the founder, President, and CEO of DEEP. DEEP focuses on harnessing Saskatchewan’s geothermal resources for reliable and sustainable energy production. They are currently developing Canada’s inaugural geothermal power facility in southern Saskatchewan.

Tim Eckel

Vice President, Energy Transition and Asset Management, SaskPower

Tim Eckel, P.Eng., ICD.D., has over 39 years of experience in numerous areas within SaskPower, including Distribution, Transmission and Customer Services. He holds Diplomas and Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration from Saskatchewan Polytechnic, University of Saskatchewan and University of Regina.
